Frequently Asked Questions

What Other Services Do You Offer?

Two Wheeler Dealer is a professional service department offering all types of service for all kinds of bikes. From changing flat tires and putting on new chains and grips to complete overhauls, we do it all. We offer tune-up packages to provide the best value and to keep your bike running smoothly, but we also offer all of our services a la carte. If you just need your brakes adjusted, give us a call.

Do I need an appointment to get my bike serviced?

No. At Two Wheeler Dealer of Sioux Falls, we make it our goal to have the fastest service department around. Instead of waiting 2 weeks or more to get your bike repaired, we keep our average turn-around to 2-3 business days, sometimes less than that. We utilize a first-come first-serve approach, but if you need it a specific day, we offer a rush service.

Do You Work on All Brands and Kinds of Bikes, and what about department store bikes?

Yes, we work on any brand or type of bike. Road, mountain, hybrid, kids, adult trikes. We try to stock as broad of a selection of parts as possible to service at the time of your appointment, but occasionally we need to order parts that are compatible with the remainder of your bike to complete service. Keep in mind that with department store brands, it is often more costly to tune it up than the bike is worth. These bikes are are not designed to last as long, and they can take even longer for our mechanics to work on them.

Do You Special Order Parts?

Yes. Two Wheeler Dealer is an authorized dealer with the major distributors in the nation, including QBP, SBS, J&B and others, giving us access to over 100,000 different parts and choices to ensure we can get parts, if available, quickly and efficiently. Name a part, chances are we can get it quickly and install it on your bike. If you want to install it yourself, that’s ok, too.

What do you mean by “Parts are extra” when it comes to tune-ups?

If all your bike parts are in good condition and working order, there are never any parts that are necessarily needed as part of a tune-up. However, we will check to see if cables are frayed or worn, if chains are stretched and if all parts of your drivetrain are in working order. We’ll ask when you bring in your bike if there is a certain dollar amount that is ok, or if we need to contact you before any additional work is done. We never want our customers surprised by a service bill.
